The integration between the sound and visuals still needs some work, but I like the direction it's going so far. My next step is to implement a range in volume. CODE Here is a updated version. Zach G. helped me with the mapping (gfxPosition) so the sound correlates more accurately with the mouse movement CODE -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Another FM audio visualization - I used vector points to create the patterns. Each shape of vector points maps the distance between low and high frequency. CODE -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In this system, I used vector points to control the FM sound. I was having trouble implementing a range in volume for certain areas of the screen. *May want to play this at a low volume :) * CODE -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OF Computer Music! -- My attempt at a synthesizer (without the help of Max/Msp..) I made a sequencer by using a 2D array of notes to create a grid system, where there are 32 notes (rows, x) and 24 notes (columns, y). I created a class to control the color and size of the circles, depending on if they are on (pressed) or off (not pressed). Here is version 1: CODE Version 2: (Sounds much better!) Moving forward, I recoded my sequencer and used super collider to produce sound. I also fixed the mouse functions and mapped them correctly to the grid of circles.
